Best Uses of BuzzBalm®

BuzzBalm® in its original formulation is an all-purpose, skin care product that may help as a skin moisturiser. We have made slight changes to the BuzzBalm® formulation to optimise it for specific uses: May help moisturise dry hands, feet, face and body and is also suitable (or safe) for people who may be prone to eczema.

  • All-Purpose Skin Cream to Moisturise & Nourish Problem Skin – BuzzBalm’s non-greasy blend of all natural ingredients serves an astounding variety of purposes. Use it as an all round moisturiser suitable for men, women and children.

  • Hand, Nail, Cuticle Care as well as for Reducing appearance of  Stretch Marks and Scars – Great for blisters, softening cuticles, problem skin conditions and smoothing rough areas such as cracked heels, elbows and gardeners hands. It is also suitable as a Tattoo Aftercare balm.

  • It contains honeys including Manuka Honey which has been shown to have antibacterial properties

  • Lip Balm to tend cold sore outbreaks, soothe dry, chapped and cracked lips and offer some lip protection during skiing.

  • Beard and Moustache Balm – an Emollient & Aftershave Balm to keep facial hair and skin nourished & healthy.

buzzbalm Raw Honey

Raw Honey blend containing active enzymes, excellent moisturisers and emollients that nourish the skin’s epidermis.

buzzbalm Bee Propolis

Bee Propolis that the bees collect from plants and use to keep the beehive safe and sterile. It contains natural polyphenols and a host of beneficial compounds.

Melixir®

Our secret magic ingredient: Melixir® is added to the balm at the final stage of production. We carefully ferment bee pollen using nectar from the Flow™ Hive which reproduces the natural process employed by the honey bee to produce a unique perga, known as the ‘food of the gods’.

BuzzBalm® does not contain parabens, chemicals, synthetic preservatives, fragrances, emulsifiers, petroleum products, alcohol or additives. It does not contain added antioxidants such as Vitamin E and is deliberately non-scented in order to preserve it's natural smell. We understand that many people prefer unscented products because it is being increasingly found that some of the unnatural additives that provide odour can contain ingredients that cause issues with the skin.

Wherever possible, it is made with Organic ingredients and we are happy to say the final blend is over 80% Organic. We believe the authenticity of the supply and quality is more important that the organic credentials which can detract from the diversity that is very important in honey and pollens that are used.

Caution

Bee products including bee pollen can pose an allergic reaction risk so use a small amount at first and desist using if you observe negative reaction. It is not to be used on babies under one as it contains raw honey.

Skin Types:

For all skin types including dry and sensitive but particularly problem and damaged skin.

How to Use:

Take a moderate amount of BuzzBalm® Skin Cream and rub it in your palms or fingers until it melts and takes the form of soft oil. Then apply it gently over your skin.

Directions for use:

  • Use in the morning after cleansing.
  • Gently smooth over your face and neck.

Uses are primarily as a Skin Care Moisturiser but people often start using our cream to help with a skin problem such as a rash or burn or scar, and then continue using it as a skin moisturiser. We find that using it twice a day does wonders for creating soft, healthy skin.
